Cable Construction

Conductor

High-purity electrolytic-grade, bright annealed flexible bunched or stranded bare copper conductors. ASTM B172 is included as a conductor construction reference, with alternative conductor constructions available according to customer specifications.

Insulation

Specially developed dielectric-grade, moisture-resistant PVC insulation provides electrical separation between individual conductors. Insulation thickness, compound formulation and conductor identification can be customized for the required voltage rating and operating conditions.

Outer Jacket

A tough, flexible PVC outer jacket provides mechanical protection during installation and operation. Abrasion resistance, flexibility, moisture resistance and other performance characteristics can be specified according to the selected PVC compound.
